Tasty Thursday treat Thursday night, nicely busy, and good service from moment we two stepped in,Had an excellently cooked and presented mixed tandoori grill, great flavours and served with freshly chopped green salad - very good. First Class Restaurant Staying locally, I travelled into Faringdon on an early Sunday evening and got a table at the Viceroy without any problem. The welcome and the service was very good. The menu was well laid out with advice about the contents of some of the meals and the strength of spice hotness!I had a delicious Tandoori Chicken starter followed by an equally delicious Lamb Achari Special. The lamb, unlike some other Indian restaurants I've been too, was beautifully tasty and succulent, no sign of toughness! The sauce it was cooked in was plentiful and tasty too,along withe pilau rice and a substantial garlic naan. I had the house red wine which was fine. Altogether, a very good dining experience.
